Regis University Website Redesign and Launch
My most recent big project was the website redesign and launch of the new Regis University website. This was a huge project because the previous site had many errors including poor site structure, thin content, and many duplicate urls. In fact, the previous website had over 24,000 pages which were migrated to a new website of just over 800 pages. Talk about a monster redirect plan! Thankfully, I was able to use AI to put together the bulk of the redirect plan. I also leveraged Google’s BERT and Python to generate meta descriptions at scale. Not a perfect solution, but an interesting experiment. In the end they chose to ignore many of my suggestions to build out content on the program pages based on my longtail keyword research. Until they address these thin content issues, their rankings will be hindered.
Decatur Smiles Great Website Launch Rankings
This new site launch was in a less competitive area, Decatur, Alabama. However, within weeks after initial optimizations this website started ranking for over 500 keywords at a visibility percentage of 92%. This sites rankings would keep climbing to 97%! This was the highest ranking site in our company statewide. The only site that ranked higher was another site one of my clients in Wetaskiwin, Canada at 98% respectively.
Just For Kids Dentistry Ranks Fast in Competitive Area
This website was launched in the competive area of Las Vegas, Nevada. After initial optimizations the visibility percentage jumped up 24 points in an insanely competive area. The client was very happy to see the improved traffic he was receiving from his 80% visibility!
Web Design Breeze My 2nd Website Flip
This was a website I purchased during an auction. I improved the website, landed some website design clients, improved the backend processes to work completely on white-label web designers, and sold the site for a decent profit. I’ve flipped 4 websites for profit because typically, improving the SEO increases the value of the website.
Wood AF Sells Out Of Inventory
I wanted to check out Shopify, so I built dropship store that specialized in only wooden sunglasses. My site helped to sell the vendor out of inventory on a popular pair of shades. This was more social media related than SEO though. I can optimize any platform, but I prefer WordPress.
SiteCHIRP My Next Side Project
My next side project will likely be a marketplace for people to buy and sell websites. I still have some things to workout and need to build up an inventory, but this will be a fun side project and can hopefully help some people make a few extra dollars.
Manifest Bread My 2nd Affiliate Blog
This is my 2nd affiliate website. I have one affiliate site that is profitable and I found another interesting niche to start a site. I’m still building out content, but I’m really liking how the site is progressing. It’s pretty new and already getting some search traffic!
Broomfield Ortho My 3rd Local Site Build
I’ve built a few local websites to practice my techniques and sometimes sell them to local businesses in that area. This is the third local site I’ve built out. It’s still very new so it’s not ranking very high yet, but I’m confident it will grace the front page of Google soon!
Fire Motivation My 2020 Side Project
This is a completely random project I started this year because you should know by now, “I found another niche.” I also wanted to test a different type of site architecture on this website that’s basically a more narrow funnel with this monster home page. I’m curious to see how this site performs. I also tested a few automated links just to see what happens. If it gets burned, I’ll just move the content to a new site and domain. That’s how the game is played!
